Motion

Members of this City Council condemn the recent jailing of protesters against Irish Water metering and call on Justice Gilligan to immediately release those who have been imprisoned. We further call for an end to the 20 meter exclusion zone applied in the vicinity of GMC Sierra metering to peaceful protesters. (Councillor Jim O’Callaghan declared a conflict of interest in this item and withdrew from the Chamber for the duration of the discussion and vote.)
