Motion

The South Central Area Committee "recognises that the overwhelming majority of people are continuing to boycott water charges, that Irish Water is unviable because it has failed the Eurostat test and because it has spent over 800 million euro to date without dealing with the problem of water leakages, that the spending by Irish Water on billing and attempting to collect monies from the population as a whole, is a complete waste of scarce resources and calls for the immediate abolition of the water charges and Irish Water."
